Free Art 1990-2008
In 1990, filled with enthusiasm, we embarked on an adventure: the discovery of artists and creators who, for their artistic quality and originality merited promotion, while at the same time offering professionals in the disseminating of culture an assessment and production service for their programmes.
Travelling to festivals all over the world, we have discovered a universe of shows which we now put at your disposal. Our specialisation will help you to find the right show for each individual case. At Free Art we endeavour on a daily basis to offer the highest quality shows and turn your cultural productions into a huge success in terms of audience and the mass media.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all those people who, in one way or another, have made possible our growth and evolution: contributors, festival directors, programmers of cultural events... thank you for your support and your faith in us.
Philosophy
In order to obtain the desired results we work together with companies of the highest artistic standard, the very best in every genre. In this way we can guarantee both emotional impact and great success.
When we select our artists, we have in mind not only their artistic quality, but their human quality as well, an added value that reaches out to the audience, a spirituality that unconsciously imbues the atmosphere and creates an aura of positive energy.
To obtain the maximum benefit from our proposals it is essential to know: why, where, for whom, with whom and when. We will take care of the how.
Our scope is enormous. Companies have come together thanks to us, creating a family spirit that has developed during the last fifteen years and gives rise to yet another added value that contributes to the success of our events.

"It's quite obvious that the spontaneity and provocation of the street theatre formula works particularly well with audiences in Tarragona. Once again, on this second day of the Plaça Free, the improvised theatre of the old slaughterhouse square (Antic Escorxador) proved way too small."
"... In the Plaza Mayor, right in the centre of town, the presentation known as "Pati Free" has set up, bringing together the very finest comics, acrobats and jugglers. Their twenty minute performances follow one another in a continuous stream and for five hours the audiences throng the stands or perch on the floor at the foot of the fences."
"Dozens of surprises, hundreds of belly-laughs and very little outrage make up the cocktail of emotions stirred by 40 performances in the Plaça Free. Watching the faces of the audience the best documentary evidence of the festive event of the year."
"Plaça Free triumphs (...) Once again, on this second day of the Plaça Free, the improvised theatre of the old slaughterhouse square (Antic Escorxador) proved way too small."
"It was impossible to get close to the Pati (...) The 'bravos', the applause and the excitement of the audience went above and beyond the high walls."
"Rúa Free (Pati Free) forever. Around eight thousand people delighted in the most diverse of street performances, with traditional, modern and crazy clowns, jugglers, puppets, fire routines and comic turns replete with humour both absurd and savage, reflecting the idiosyncrasies of the artists native countries. Congratulations, then, to all those who made Rœa Free possible."
"Another of Tàrrega's undisputed successes is the Pati Free, which, with their continuous programme of free, high quality performances and youth-orientated aesthetic, attracts a huge crowd of young people."
"The Pati Free from Spain featured a stream of highly accomplished jugglers, musicians and acrobats"
