Huge cup and balls escort a giant music box while elegantly parading, inspired by the rigour, the elegance and the pureness of past royal courts.
The Kendama is a character inspired by Louis XIV, by his allure and his looks. His precious and masterful body language guides us during the show. As if he were a music conductor, he handles his oversized antique toys with exemplary virtuosity. He rides his music box as a king exalted by his subjects. Force exudes from this character who, with just one movement, has the power to paint images in space. Under his direction the cup and balls realize great exploits. Their movements are in tune with the precision of each note. Then, gradually, the harmonious movements of the group changes: these start rebelling and the music becomes oppressive.
